The BIM 360 account fulfillment setup form includes an option to select which data center to use for primary storage of Covered Content at the time of account creation.
No. You must specify a single geographical location for primary storage of the Covered Content for projects associated with a BIM 360 tenant. When purchasing a new account you can choose to have the Covered Content associated with that project primarily stored on the US or Europe data center.
If you need to have some Covered Content associated with a project primarily stored in the US and some primarily stored in Europe, you'll have to have two BIM 360 accounts or tenants, one selecting the US data center and one selecting the Europe data center.
No. Many of our largest European customers have been BIM 360 customers for years and have accumulated a lot of project content on the US data centers. Today, we have no easy way to move existing content. So for existing European customers, you can either keep all projects in one account in the US, or you can request a second account to cover primary storage of Covered Content in Europe for new projects.
Today, we do not offer that option.
While Covered Content will be primarily stored in the region the customer selects, identity, logging, and other pertinent information may be stored, processed and accessed from other global locations for all global services offered by Autodesk. This includes support and maintenance, availability and reliability, certain services (for example, translation), account management, product entitlements, email, and collaboration.
