Publish Models from Revit

Sets, sheets, 3D views, and the aggregated project model that appear in Design Collaboration are populated in your team space by publishing one or more sets from Revit. Once the models are published to folders in Document Management, you can use Design Collaboration to share and compare these models with other teams. Refer to the Revit help to learn more about selecting views and sheets to publish. In addition to supporting models published directly from Revit, Design Collaboration supports models uploaded through Document Management and Desktop Connector. Refer to the Upload and Publish Documents section of the help to learn more about uploading models directly to Document Management.

Whenever a set is published, the underlying model comes along with it. In the case that you publish from Revit without selecting any sets, Design Collaboration uses the name of the model to represent the set.
