Restrict access to your mobile data using a mobile security key.
The mobile security key is an optional service that allows you to apply an additional layer of protection to your data. When using the BIM 360 mobile app, users are prompted to enter a mobile security key before they can access your project information.
The service is configured using a Mobile Device Management (MDM) interface. You can use any implementation of an iOS MDM protocol, for example the IBM Maas360 or SimpleMDM service.
Once you have set up your MDM account, you can go ahead and add the mobile devices used by your team members. Your team members can then open the BIM 360 app safe in the knowledge that their project data is secure.
As a BIM 360 project administrator, you can apply the security key on a project by project basis, and manage the mobile devices that have access to each project.
