Account Profile

Customize your account name and image, view your Account ID, and invite additional account administrators.

The following video demonstrates how to manage the account profile:

To access the Profile tab:

  1. In the Account Admin module, click the Settings tab.
  2. Click the Profile secondary tab.

Customize Your Account Name and Image

The account name and account image are used throughout BIM 360 and appear in email notifications to your employees and external partners. Your company name is assigned when you purchase your BIM 360 account, but you can edit that name. You can also add your company logo to make it easier for members who work across multiple BIM 360 accounts to immediately recognize your company's communications.

  1. Under Account Information, click the pencil icon to enter an Account Display Name.
  2. Click Save.
  3. Above the account name, hover over the Image area.
  4. Click Change Account Image.
  5. Click Browse under Select an image to upload.
  6. Click Upload.

View Your Account ID

You can view your Account ID in the Settings tab. This ID could be helpful for support cases.

  1. In Account Admin, click the Settings tab.
  2. On the Profile tab, click View Account ID.

Invite Account Administrators

There are several ways to add administrators to your account, including from the Profile tab in the account settings. This step ensures you're not a single point of failure for account management.

  1. In the Account Administrators section on the Profile secondary tab, click the Add (+) icon.
  2. Enter a name or email address for another account administrator. New account administrators receive a Welcome email allowing them to sign in and access the BIM 360 account.
Note: If several account administrators have been added, you may need to scroll through the list of names to see a space with the Add (+) icon.

Service Settings

For accounts with access to Classic BIM 360 Field, account administrators can restrict project administrators from adding partner companies.

  1. In the Account Administrators section on the Profile secondary tab, scroll down to the Services Settings section.
  2. Select or deselect the checkbox to specify whether Field project administrators can add partner companies.
Note: When adding companies in BIM 360 in Field project settings, Field project administrators should be careful not to create duplicate companies.
