Permissions: Field Management
Project administrators can modify the permissions for specific members, roles, or companies for field management. To modify permissions:
- Go to the Project Admin module.
- Click the Services tab.
- Select Field Management in the panel on the left.
- Select the Checklists or Daily Logs tab to modify permissions.
The permissions can be set individually for templates, checklists, and daily logs.
Note: Permissions can't be changed for other administrators. Project administrators have full control by default. If an individual has higher permissions than their role the higher permission set is used.
Checklist Template Permissions Overview
In Checklists, BIM 360 users can have permissions granted to them as individual project members, as roles, and as companies. These permissions are additive, meaning that a user's functional permission level is the highest permission granted to them by their role, their company, or them individually as a project member.
Permissions for checklists can be granted to project members for the entire checklist or for individual sections. Permissions granted to a project member for a checklist will apply to all sections on the template. However, if a user is granted permissions for a specific section, those permissions do not apply to the entire checklist.
When a project member is granted permissions on a checklist created from a template, they also receive permission to the view the template.
Only checklist assignees are granted access to the final sign-offs section of a template. Final sign-offs can't be assigned as an individual section.
