Single Sign-On with Autodesk (SSO)

Autodesk Enterprise SSO requires a Premium subscription. Contact client services if you have been utilizing Flow Production Tracking Single Sign-On, but you do not see your email domain(s) available for configuration in your SSO Admin portal.
Requirements for using SSO with Flow Production Tracking
There are three conditions for a Flow Production Tracking hosted site to leverage Single Sign-On with Autodesk:
- Flow Production Tracking hosted sites are required to use Autodesk Identity for authentication. The migration to Autodesk Identity was done for existing sites on or before October of 2021. Any new hosted sites created after that date have this set up by default.
- Flow Production Tracking user email domain(s) are required to be configured to use Autodesk SSO.
- Users are required to be "Active" on the Flow Production Tracking site, controlled by the Status field on the People page.
Aside from these three requirements, no additional configuration is necessary on the Flow Production Tracking site. Users from email domains configured to use Autodesk SSO will automatically be redirected to authenticate with SSO when they log in to Flow Production Tracking.
Additional Flow Production Tracking SSO Support and Limitations
Flow Production Tracking SSO Site Preference
There is a site preference on Flow Production Tracking hosted sites to enforce log in with SSO.
This is only recommended if ALL users have been signed up with email addresses belonging to an SSO-configured domain; otherwise this may lock users out of their Flow Production Tracking site if they are from non-SSO domains.
Users will be using the SSO associated with their email domains, which can be the same or different than the SSO backend. In other words, users will not be using the site-owner's own SSO.
SSO Account Provisioning
There is no just-in-time account provisioning from Autodesk SSO to Flow Production Tracking. Users from SSO domains will still need to be created and activated on each Flow Production Tracking site to be granted access.
