There are two pathways that can be taken to purchase a subscription:
In this topic, we'll explore how to sign your team up for a trial site, and then decide to purchase a subscription via the in-app message to "Buy" Flow Production Tracking.
Existing Customers only, if you already have a purchased Flow Production Tracking subscription and are currently a Customer, you will be prevented from creating a trial under your existing Autodesk account. To create a trial site, you will need to create a new Autodesk account under another email address, independent from your existing account. If you would like to purchase your trial site and link it to your existing subscription, please contact support.
Then, progress through the steps and fill in required information to start your free trial.
If you already have an account with Autodesk, you can sign in instead of creating an account
At this stage, you may be prompted to create an account and verify your account using Phone verification.
Next, select Access.
After selecting Access, you may be prompted to verify your Autodesk account via email.
Once your account has been verified, you will arrive at your Autodesk account All Products and Services page. Select Access on your Flow Production Tracking - Subscription.
Now, create a trial site for your team by selecting Create or link site, Create a new site, and choose a name (URL) for your trial site.
The name for your site will become the site URL (e.g. https://my-site-name.shotgrid.autodesk.com
). If the name for your site is already taken, you will be prevented from creating the site until the name is unique.
Once you receive an email invitation to log into your trial site, select Log into your site and then use your Autodesk Identity credentials to sign in.
Refer to the first step where you signed up for a trial for your credentials.
After you have signed in, you can begin using Flow Production Tracking and building your site (create new projects, add your team, and more!).
Check out the Getting Started Guides for inpiration on where to begin.
You can add users from the People Page and dive deeper into subscription details with the Subscription Manager.
You can use up to 50 active users on your team trial site. Once you create active users via the People Page, they will receive an invitation in their email to join the trial site.
Existing Customers only, if you already have a purchased Flow Production Tracking subscription and are currently a Customer, stop here and do not proceed with the next steps to Purchase a new subscription. Instead, contact support and they will link your trial site to your existing subscription before your trial expires.
Flow Production Tracking free trials expire after 30 days, and you will see a countdown next to Buy now on your site.
Your trial site can become your real site that you purchase—meaning that all the Projects, data, and media added will remain the same through the purchasing transition.
Once you select Buy now, you will be directed to the Flow Production Tracking product overview page where you can select which Flow Production Tracking option to add to your cart.
Then, select Check out.
Select how many seats to purchase. Seats must be equal to or greater than the number of active users on your site.
Sign in with your Autodesk account credentials here.
Then, enter the number of users, your payment information, Save, and Submit order.
You will receive an Order Confirmation in the web browser and in your email.
After that, you will be directed to Product and Services > All Product and Services with your Flow Production Tracking - Subscription.
Now, you will see your subscription under Product and Services and in Billing and Orders > Subscriptions and Contracts area of your account.
You can select your Flow Production Tracking Subscription to see more details and add/remove seats.
You've now purchased your subscription for your team from your trial site.
Trial sites created AFTER JANUARY 8 2024 will be linked to subscriptions automatically. If your trial site was created BEFORE JANUARY 8 2024, follow these steps to link your site to your subscription.
