When you create customized setups to export DWG files according to your specific requirements, save the setups in a template project so that you can reuse them. In addition, you may find it helpful to share an export setup from an existing project or template.

Here's how: open the source project where the export setup is saved, then open the destination project where you want to transfer the export setup. On the Manage tab, select Transfer Project Standards. Choose the source file. Click Check None to deselect the settings you do not want transferred. Then, select DWG/DXF Export Setup Settings and click OK. To verify that the setup as transferred, select the application menu ExportOptionsExport Setups DWG/DXF. Notice that the transferred setup is listed.

Customized DWG export setups allow you to meet project requirements. Sharing the setups between projects ensures consistent application of the standards across multiple projects, even when many people collaborate on the projects.
