Save To AutoCAD Web & Mobile

When you subscribe to an AutoCAD-based product, you can open and save drawings to your Autodesk Account from any remote location in the world with internet access, and on any desktop, web, or mobile device.

The Save to AutoCAD Web & Mobile dialog box is displayed. This command is similar to the SAVEAS command except that the default location is set to the AutoCAD Web & Mobile folder in your Autodesk Account.

When you save the drawing, it retains the currently specified DWG format. By default, this is the AutoCAD 2018 file format. You can specify a different default file format in the Options dialog box, Open and Save tab.

The partner command to saving a file from your Autodesk Account is OPENFROMWEBMOBILE.

Note: This command is available only on 64-bit systems.

Package reference files with drawing

This option includes external references, which are limited to xrefs and images. These external references are included with your drawing in a compressed package (*.dwgzip).

Note: Editing referenced files can result in conflicts between the online and the local versions. To avoid complex situations that could result in your losing work, referenced files are set to read-only. Drawings opened from your Autodesk Account should be saved using SAVETOWEBMOBILE to include newly attached xrefs.
