Apply a Key to an Element

Use a predefined key to modify a schedule element.

1. Select an element that has a predefined key. For example, you might select a door.
2. On the Properties palette, find the key name (Frame Type), and click in the value column.
3. Select a value for the property from the list.
   When you apply the new style, the properties defined in the key schedule display as read-only instance properties. When the property value is aligned with the key value, an "=" is displayed to the right of the value. When the property value is not aligned with the key value, an "≠" is displayed to the right of the value.
