At the Command prompt, replaces specified block references with a different block.
The following prompts are displayed.
Blocks to Replace
Specifies one or more blocks to be replaced.
Substitute Block
Specifies the replacement block.
- Name
- Specifies the name of the replacement block.
- Pick
- Selects a replacement block in the current drawing.
- External File
- Selects a replacement block from an external drawing file.
- File path. Specifies the path and name of the external drawing file of the replacement block.
- File as a Block
- Inserts a drawing file as a replacement block.
- File path. Specifies the path and name of the drawing file to be inserted as a replacement block.
- ?—List Block Names
- Lists the blocks currently defined in the drawing.
